Store unopened caviar in the coldest part of your refrigerator, between 28 and 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not freeze it. Once opened, consume within one to two days.

Serve caviar directly from the tin set on a bed of crushed ice. Always use a mother-of-pearl, bone, or plastic spoon. Never use silver or metal utensils as they react with the roe and affect the flavour.
